  • Lower Ammonoosuc Falls:  A popular spot for swimming just east of Twin Mountain off Hwy 302, these falls are part of the Ammonoosuc River and create natural pools that many visitors enjoy swimming in during the warmer months. The falls also offer beautiful scenery for a fun and relaxing day out.
  • Recreation Park: complete with a dive raft to swim out to and hangout with friends or lay in the sun.
  • Echo Lake State Park: This is a beautiful spot with a beach, clean water, and paddle boat rentals. This is located at the North end of Franconia Notch. Take 3 south until you get to I-93 South.
  • Ammonoosuc River: Several places on the Ammonnusuc River suitable for swimming East and West of Twin Mountain on Hwy 302.
